The DES-F1006P-E is a Plug-and-Play devicethat requires no configuration, so setup is simple and hassle-free. Easilyconnect multiple computers, share files, music, and video across your SOHOnetwork, or even create a multiplayer gaming environment. 802.3x flow controlon each port minimizes dropped packets when the port’s receiving buffer isfull, giving a more reliable connection for all connected devices. TheDES-F1006P-E also features four 10/100BASE-TX ports that support the IEEE802.3af/at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) protocol, supplying 15W each.

DiverseOperating Modes

The DES-F1006P-E switch has three operatingmodes. The default mode has a transmission distance of 100 meters. VLAN modeprevents against DHCP deception, broadcast storms, and virus attacks. Extendmode supports an extra-long transmission distance of 250 meters at 10Mbps, andQuality-of-Service (QoS) mode customizes application priorities for uses suchas Video.
